When brothers Larry and Jim Voigt took over the Voigt Contracting, more than 30 years ago from their father, you could find them at every job site pounding nails and sawing wood. That hands-on perspective continues to guide the quality of their craftsmanship today.
"The superiority of our carpentry and particularly the interior finish detailing has become our signature," says Larry Voigt.
From fireplace mantles and beam ceilings to millwork and stairway accents, virtually all the woodworking is performed by Voigt employees - including custom built kitchens and cabinets.
Whether its hand-framing a roof or putting the finishing touches on their meticulously detailed cabinets, you will still find them on the job site with their very experienced crew.
By being active members of the Wausau Area Builder's Association for over 20 years, they have been able to attend the International Builders' Home Show on a regular basis. This has allowed them to bring customers up to date on all the new innovations and technology in the building business.
Larry and Jim, got the builder of the year award for 3 years from WABA.
They pride themselves on pleasing their clients. Jim Voigt adds, "Our clients know that we listen carefully and that their opinions matter. Our responses are very personalized homes that demonstrate how much we care."
